Aims of the Foundation

What is the Foundation?

During 2015 the Foundation has continued to work with the cancer units at Cynthia Spencer and Northampton General Hospital as they have identified families for us to support.

We have helped over 20 Families share in some amazing trips creating fantastic memories, ranging from visits to West End Theatres, breaks to Center Parcs and Leogland, to trips to Scotland to see the Pandas in Edinburgh Zoo!

As we approach our second year we intend to broaden our scope of support for families.

It has been our experience since our launch that in some cases its practical help that families need. It’s often the small things in life that make the most difference.  Examples of this has been to provide vouchers for families to buy Christmas presents for their Children and to assist a family in financial difficulty with crucial house repairs.

The Foundation is committed to helping make a difference to families living with cancer, whether that’s enjoying time away together or practical support to help give parents quality time with their loved one’s, improving everyone’s emotional wellbeing.
